Department of Commerce
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step and so with a resolve to leap forward and succeed, the Department of Commerce was setup in 2007 offering B.Com courses with specialization in Computer Application and Tax. In 2012, the department was elevated to Post Graduate level, starting M.Com course with specialization in Finance and Marketing. Now Commerce department is the largest department of the college with an intake capacity of 200 students every year. The department is constantly striving to enable the students their holistic development of personality with a humane and global outlook. Relevant and updated add on courses like Tally, SAP etc are provided for enhancing practical knowledge and equipping the students with appropriate skills to fulfill their career dreams. The department has well qualified, competent faculty who are dedicated to the academic and overall development of the student community. We focus on overall development of our students and encourage them to take part in various co-curricular and extracurricular activities like NSS, Clubs and Cultural events in various college level and university level competitions. We follow the practice of industrial and field visits for U.G. and P.G. students for practical and project work. We have strong alumni who are presently working at reputed positions in various sectors like Corporate, Banks, Business etc.
